RINI students recognized in the Lifespan Mentoring Program

RINI students were recognized for their participation in the Lifespan Mentoring program this week. 20 students in grades 11 and 12 participated in valuable workforce development program this year. Senior students received special recognition from Lifespan for graduation and they also received an official citation from the City of Providence, Providence City Council.

Treasurer Magaziner Honors High School Students with ‘Young Leader’ Award

Rhode Island Treasurer Seth Magaziner today recognized fifty-six high school juniors from across the Ocean State with the Young Leader Award. The award is presented to high school juniors in the state of Rhode Island who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in math, economics, finance and business-related courses, and is active in his or her community. RINI Middle College Student, Naiviv Ortiz was among the award recipients. The award was presented during a ceremony at the Rhode Island State House. Each awardee is nominated by school administrators.

CCRI, RINI partner to provide seamless pathway, increase diversity in state’s nursing workforce

Junior Achievement JA Inspire Career Exploration day

RINI students participated in the Junior Achievement JA Inspire Career Exploration day last week. Over 4,000 grade 8 students from around the state attended and had the opportunity to learn about career opportunities. Many students were interested in applying to RI Nurses Institute Middle College for their high school education.
