At RI Nurses Institute Middle College all students participate in an
authentic health care workforce experience/internship at one of our
many health care partner practice sites. These sites include area
hospitals, clinics, home care agencies, community organizations,
social service agencies, and long term care facilities. Students not
only earn high school credits as part of their graduation
requirements, but also gain first hand experience in a variety of
nursing and advanced health care provider roles and specialties.
Because our students are very well prepared for these internships and
experiences, many students are offered after school, weekend, or
summer employment with these health care organizations.
