Most of the area nursing and assisted living facilities are anxious to fill positions with RINIMC students. Recently,we have three students employed by The Highlands on the East Side, three hired by Brookedale-West Bay Manor during the summer and one student hired by Victoria Court Pacifica Senior Living. Additionally, HOSA members have the opportunity to work for Walgreen’s Pharmacy and CVS as customer service representatives initially and then can be trained to be Pharmacy Technicians during the summer of 2017.
Volunteers
Three students participated in a volunteer opportunity this month at the Blackstone Valley Community Health Fair. On October 31st, students will volunteer their time at a Halloween Party given by St. Elizabeth’s Court for the residents.
