Ms. de Jesus has worked for non-for-profit private and charter schools for over 20 years.  She obtained her bachelor's degree in Accounting at Rhode Island College and completed Human Resources courses at Bryant University.  Prior to working at RINI, she worked for 11 years at a not-for-profit private middle school as the Assistant Business Manager and After School Director.  In 2014, she was offered to work as the Business Manager and School Nutrition Program Director for an elementary charter school that was just opening its doors that same year.
