On Monday, November 29th, Principal Ferland, Ms. Dwyer, Director of Teaching and Learning, Ms. Tsiane, Director of School Culture and Community, Ms. Jeter, Faculty and National Honor Society Moderator had the pleasure of celebrating 36 new inductees to the RINI National Honor Society. Admission to the National Honor Society is an amazing accomplishment and it is a recognition of the years of hard work and dedication of these students.
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since 1921.
To our new inductees, always remember that induction to the Honor Society is a beginning, not an end. You are all well on your way to making wonderful contributions to our world. Congratulations to all of you once again. Please continue to make your school proud, your teachers proud, your parents proud, and most importantly yourself proud.
