During this time of distance learning, free “Grab and Go” meals are available for school children throughout Rhode Island. All of these sites are operating on the same basis, which is that anyone aged 18 or under who shows up gets a free meal. There are no ID or residency requirements. Children no longer have to be present to pick up these meals.

Providence Announces Changes to Meal Service During April School Closures for COVID-19
Multiple day breakfast and lunch meals will now be packed in boxes available for pickup on Tuesdays and Fridays each week beginning April 7th, 2020. Each box is packed with enough meals to carry students until the following pickup day. Pickup sites will not be open on any other day of the week, please be aware of the new schedule.
