Data Analytic Course for Future Nurses

RINI 11th grade students are participating in a class called DATA NAVIGATORS, provided by the Providence Public Library. Students will learn how to collect, run statistical analysis, and evaluate data in relation to health-related situations and problems during this 10-week course. Actualización de la familia RINI

Curso analítico de datos para futuras enfermeras.

Los estudiantes de RINI del 11avo. grado van a participar en una clase llamada NAVEGADORES DE DATOS, proporcionada por la Biblioteca Pública de Providence. Los estudiantes aprenderán cómo recopilar, realizar análisis estadísticos y evaluar datos en relación con situaciones y problemas relacionados con la salud durante este curso de 10 semanas. This valuable professional development opportunity allowed teachers and staff to engage with other RI healthcare providers and organizations that are addressing social determinants of health and working for equity for all RI students.

RIDE Awards Nearly $1.2 Million to Increase Equity in Career Education

CTE Innovation and Equity Grants Engage Underserved Students in Hands-on Learning Opportunities

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) today announced the awarding of nearly $1.2 million in CTE Innovation and Equity Grants, funds that will be used by new and existing career education programs to help expand access for historically underserved students. The eight recipient schools are spread out across the state and will each receive roughly $150,000 in funding over two years, starting in the 2018-2019 school year.
